Who’s Behind the Code?

DevelopHER Designs began with a simple goal: to take the stress out of websites. Founder and lead developer Jessica Tatham saw too many entrepreneurs with bold ideas held back by broken sites, confusing tech, and digital strategies that didn’t stick.

With over nine years of experience as a software engineer, Jess has led development teams for both Fortune 50 companies and fast-moving startups. She brings deep technical expertise, a sharp eye for frontend performance, and a knack for translating complex needs into clean, functional, and scalable websites.

Since launching DevelopHER, she’s worked with fashion designers, bakers, journalists, conservationists, publicists and nearly every type of creative in between. Helping them launch beautiful, high-functioning websites that actually move the needle.

Her expertise spans full-stack development, custom CMS builds, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, responsive design, API integrations, performance optimization, and scalable architecture. Whether she’s building from scratch or debugging legacy code, she brings a sharp eye for frontend performance and a rare ability to translate complex technical needs into clean, functional, and future-ready websites.

When she’s not deep in code, Jess is usually exploring a new city, cooking something spicy, doing yoga, or befriending stray animals. She’s also passionate about digital access for nonprofits and continues to support causes close to her heart—including animal conservation.
